Charoen Somprasong Co., Ltd. Launches Q Line ... Modern Elegant Rattan Furniture in the Market

  • As the Hot Young Designer who is passionate in Design and has been graduated in field of Design and Industrial Management from U.S.A., combined with family’s business background in Plastics industry operated under publicly listed in Stock Exchange of Thailand - - Thai Coating Industrial Public Co., Ltd., Mr. Chokchai Charoenapornwatana, Technical and Design Manager of Charoen Somprasong Co., Ltd. has transformed the concepts of transforming polymer resins to produce and distribute Rattan Furniture under  “Q Line” brand.
  • Integration into Furniture Industry, which is the ever challenging business that requires timely dynamism, especially in field of Furniture Design, as well as modern and practical, that can be updated according to user’s demand, where Chokchai is excellently capable of.

  • Q Line Products vary from Sofas, Living Room Furniture Sets, Chairs and Beds that are available more than 30 models and within this year new collections will be launched more than 10 models, targeting at consumers of middle class upwards.       Recently Q Line has exported to more than 10 countries, such as U.S.A., Germany, France, Europe, and Japan, and this year also aims to export to Middle East countries, along with Thailand local markets, where Q Line new showroom has just been opened on Somdej Phrachao Taaksin Road and has also been displayed via dealers’ showroom network like Podium Home.


  • For Business Policy, Q Line has planned to expand production capacity, at the factory site in Prachinburi Province covering the area around 500 Rais, from currently 50 workers increasing to 200 workers within this year end and also to 500 workers in the future. The expansion is due to lots of orders has been placed with us, but still could not sufficiently cater to the increasing demands; this is because all furniture are hand-made by local artisans, which requires longer production time than other machine-made furniture.   
  • For Marketing Strategy to Strengthen Branding widely, especially in the Upper Class Overseas Markets like Europe, Germany, and USA.      This year Q Line also plans to exhibit in the World Renown International Furniture Fair like Germany and Italy.       For Thailand local market, market recognition has been increasingly obvious, as more entrepreneurs in Hotel and Resorts have shown interests by increasing order placements too.
  • For Distribution Channels, sales will be gained through Showroom Sales, Direct Sales Teams, as well as e-Commerce, especially internet marketing which still has potential to grow, since consumer behavior nowadays increasingly prefers this channel, the same way as in abroad.
